Bill's WEB Page and HTML Builder's Guide

If you're looking for HELP on HTML web pages, or if you want to learn how to build a web page; register a domain name so that people can find you on the internet; and then upload your web pages to your server; then this is the place to start.

The full training package is made up of 3 components
  • Bill's HTML Builder's Guide will show you how to use the basic HTML tags used in building most web pages. Learn about and test for yourself HTML elements such as Tables, Drop Down Lists, Iframes, Images, Image Mapping, Scrolling Marquees, Hyper Links, and more. Think of it as an HTML Cross REference or an WEB Quick Reference. All examples were tested using IE 6, Netscape 7.2, and Firefox 1.5. All examples (unless identified) worked on all three platforms.

  • The PDF tutorial will cover information such as styling sheets (inline and global), and Javascript. The Javascript portion will cover dynamic/inner html such as used by this page, loading images in advance and how to swap images (slide show) on a web page, and more. It will also talk about how to buy a domain name and how to use FTP to upload your web pages.

  • The How To Videos will walk you through creating a simple web page using only NOTEPAD (text tool built into windows), and will also show you how to register a domain name for less then $20 a year. and then use FTP to upload the web pages you created using Notepad to a hosting service associated with the domain name (at no additional cost and no ads or banners).
